This Privacy Policy explains how Scribe Animator - ohotech (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our Service.

1) Who We Are

2) Personal Data We Collect

  • Account Data: email, password hash, profile preferences (if any).
  • Billing & Transaction Data: payment status, plan, transaction IDs, invoices/receipts, partial payment identifiers, and mobile-store purchase metadata. Web payments are processed by Razorpay. iOS and Android purchases may be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat used to validate and sync subscription entitlements across devices. We do not store full card or bank details.
  • User Content: projects, uploads, assets you add, exported file metadata, workspace settings, and support messages you send.
  • Usage & Device Data: log data (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps), feature usage, crash reports, and request logs associated with built-in drawing assets delivered from our Cloudflare-hosted asset library/CDN.
  • Cookies/Local Storage: session/auth cookies, preferences, and similar technologies as needed for functionality.

3) AI Voice and Voice-Cloning Data

Recorded or uploaded voice samples used to create a Pocket custom voice are processed on the device. The app creates a reusable custom-voice representation. App-owned temporary samples are deleted after successful creation and when a sample is cancelled, removed, or replaced. If creation fails, the app-owned copy may remain temporarily so you can retry and is eligible for cleanup after 24 hours. This does not delete the original file you selected.

Persistent custom-voice representations are stored in app-private local storage, excluded from operating-system cloud or device backups, and are not intentionally uploaded or synchronized. Deleting a custom voice deletes that local representation. Narration already generated from it may remain in projects and may be uploaded when you choose to save or sync those projects. AI voice reports do not automatically include voice samples or generated audio.

4) Why We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to provide the Service, process subscriptions and manage billing, provide customer support, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Service where enabled.

5) Sharing & Disclosure

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the Service, including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and asset/CDN delivery, email and support tooling providers, Razorpay for web payments/refunds, RevenueCat for mobile entitlement management, and Apple App Store or Google Play when purchases are made through those platforms. We may also share data with legal/safety recipients when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

6) Your Rights (India DPDP & Similar Laws)

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction/updating, and erasure (subject to lawful retention), and grievance redressal. To exercise rights, email: privacy@scribeanimator.com with subject “Privacy Request”.

7) Retention and Deletion

We retain account, support, and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. User-created projects and uploads are retained until you delete them, your account is closed, or operational cleanup removes them from active systems and backups. If you request deletion, we will process the request subject to lawful retention requirements.

8) Asset / IP Concern Reports

If you need to report a copyright, trademark, or other IP concern about a built-in drawing asset, you can contact us at support@scribeanimator.com with subject “Report an asset or copyright concern”. In Mobile Lite, the same report flow is available under Help → Report Asset / IP Concern.
