These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Scribe Animator - ohotech (the “Service”), operated by Ohotech Solutions Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Definitions

  • “User”, “you”: the person or entity using the Service.
  • “Content”: any text, files, images, audio, video, project data, or other materials uploaded, created, or generated using the Service.
  • “Built-in Assets/Templates”: any templates, icons, characters, props, SVGs, curated vector drawing assets, UI blocks, music/sfx (if any) provided by us within the Service, including assets shown in the built-in drawing panel and delivered from our Cloudflare-hosted asset library/CDN.
  • “Subscription”: a paid plan purchased through our payment partners or an app store checkout flow.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

3) Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@scribeanimator.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4) License to Use the Service (Your “License Terms”)

Subject to these Terms and your Subscription (if any), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal/business/personal use, only as permitted by the Service features.

  • Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law.
  • Do not resell, lease, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau without our written permission.
  • Do not bypass usage limits, security controls, or paywalls.

5) Built-in Assets/Templates License

We own (or license) the Built-in Assets/Templates. We grant you a license to use Built-in Assets/Templates inside your projects/exports created using the Service, including for commercial use, unless stated otherwise in the asset’s metadata. This includes built-in drawing panel assets used in exported videos, images, presentations, and similar deliverables made with the Service.

  • Do not redistribute or sell Built-in Assets/Templates as standalone files (e.g., “SVG packs”, “template packs”).
  • Do not upload our Built-in Assets/Templates to stock sites, marketplaces, or asset libraries.
  • Do not claim authorship/ownership over Built-in Assets/Templates.
  • Do not use built-in assets, or close derivatives of them, as source material for competing asset libraries or stock packs.

6) Your Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your Content only as needed to operate, improve, and secure the Service (including rendering, exporting, backups, and previews).

You represent and warrant that (a) you have all necessary rights to upload/use your Content, and (b) your Content does not infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable laws.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate laws or regulations, infringe IP rights, distribute malware, or abuse others.

8) Voice Cloning

Custom voices may be created only from your own voice or from a person who has given informed permission. Custom voices may not be used to impersonate, defraud, mislead, harass, exploit, or violate another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.

Do not create a custom voice of a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian, or you otherwise have lawful authority and appropriate permission.

9) AI Voice Models and Supertonic-3

Scribe Animator may provide optional locally running artificial-intelligence voice models, including Supertonic-3. Supertonic-3 is made available under the BigScience Open RAIL-M License. Complete model and runtime licenses and applicable notices are available through Scribe Animator’s Legal and AI Voice Use pages.

The OpenRAIL-M use restrictions applicable to Supertonic-3 are incorporated into and form part of this agreement governing your use of the model. By downloading, accessing, or using Supertonic-3 through Scribe Animator, you agree to comply with the full OpenRAIL-M license and its use-based restrictions. You must not use Supertonic-3 or its outputs:

  1. in violation of applicable law or regulation;
  2. to exploit, harm, or attempt to harm minors;
  3. to create or distribute knowingly false or deceptive content for the purpose of harming others;
  4. to create or distribute personal information intended or likely to harm an individual;
  5. to defame, harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully target individuals or groups;
  6. to impersonate or attempt to impersonate another person without valid consent;
  7. for fully automated decisions that adversely affect legal rights or create binding legal obligations;
  8. to exploit vulnerable individuals or groups;
  9. to provide medical advice or medical-result interpretation;
  10. for prohibited justice, law-enforcement, immigration, asylum, or criminal-risk decision making; or
  11. in any other manner prohibited by the full OpenRAIL-M license.

You are responsible for outputs you create and publish. When required by the OpenRAIL-M license or applicable law, you must clearly and intelligibly disclose that Supertonic-3 content is machine-generated. You may use only scripts, names, voices, likenesses, and materials you own or are legally authorized to use, and must obtain appropriate consent before creating content that represents or could reasonably be mistaken for another person.

Supertonic-3 and its runtime are provided by their licensors on an “as is” basis. Supertone Inc. does not sponsor, endorse, or have an affiliation with Scribe Animator merely because Scribe Animator supports Supertonic-3. We may suspend or disable access where use appears to violate these Terms, the applicable model license, or law.

10) Subscriptions, Billing & Payments (Web, Apple App Store, Google Play)

Web subscriptions are processed via Razorpay (our payment processing partner). Mobile subscriptions or purchases may also be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, and RevenueCat may be used to validate and sync purchase entitlements across devices. Prices, taxes (including GST if applicable), and billing frequency are shown at checkout. We do not store your full card or bank details.

11) Cancellation

You can cancel a web Subscription at any time via Billing Page → Cancel Subscription. For Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions, cancellation must be managed through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

12) Refunds

Refunds (if any) are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy at: /refunds/. Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to those platforms’ billing and refund rules.

13) Reporting Asset or IP Concerns

If you believe a built-in asset in the drawing panel infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, contact support@scribeanimator.com with subject “Report an asset or copyright concern” and include enough detail for us to identify the asset and review the claim. In Mobile Lite, the same reporting flow is available from Help → Report Asset / IP Concern. We may restrict or remove assets while investigating.

14) Service Changes, Availability & Support

We may update or modify the Service from time to time. We aim for good uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support: support@scribeanimator.com | Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 10 PM IST
